Crystal Cruises
Consistently voted the “World’s Best” luxury cruise line by readers of multiple travel magazines, it’s hard to think of something Crystal Cruises doesn’t do well. Attentive staff, appetizing and exotic cuisine and a spa that can only be described as ultra-luxurious are just a few of the highlights of a luxury cruise aboard Crystal. Crystal’s ships are much larger than most other luxury cruise lines, accommodating approximately 1000 guests on each of its two ships.
However, the size of the ships doesn’t cause any luxury to be sacrificed. Activities abound upon Crystal ships, with language or music classes, boutique shopping, a casino, a theater and more. The nighttime entertainment is another notable aspect of this cruise line, with everything from Tony-winning performers to a full orchestra. Onboard restaurants feature sushi to Italian favorites and every delicacy in between.
Why Travel with Crystal Cruises?
- With the highest staff to guest ratio in the industry, guests’ needs are always met.
- The daytime and nighttime activities cover almost every base, from relaxing to entertaining to educational.
- Crystal’s size provides the deck space for many ship amenities that smaller ships can’t offer.
Why Not Travel with Crystal Cruises?
- With 1000 guests, the ships are much larger than some luxury cruise ships.
- Crystal Cruises have more structure with dress codes and dining times than other cruises, which may not appeal to more casual guests.
- Not all amenities are included on Crystal voyages. For example, wine at dinner is an added expense.
Passenger Reviews
"The finest cruise that we have ever been on. The quality and quantity of the food was outstanding. The cruise personnel, the shore excursions, the cleanliness of the cabins and the ship in general made this cruise the finest ever. Remember, you get what you pay for. The extra cost for this cruise was well worth it."

Editorial Reviews
"With home offices based in Los Angeles, Crystal has long been a favorite of the well-heeled West Coast crowd (though actually a subsidiary of Tokyo-based NYK or Nippon Yusen Kaisha). Crystal Cruises is the luxury cruise line of choice for voyagers deep-pocketed enough to afford a luxury cruise, but gregarious and lively enough to crave a larger ship (by luxury standards) and lots of fellow passengers and a broad range of activities and facilities."
